While Carrie Guy has a Bachelors Degree from Texas Christian University in Communications and experience as a speaker, it is her passion for God and vibrant personality that captures the hearts of her listeners. Her vulnerability and transparency allow her audience the ability to identify with her story, heartache, challenges, passions, and victories in life.
Carrie has had an array of life experience from travelling the world and experiencing over 25 different countries, to living through
divorce, facing unique health challenges and living with an abusive, alcoholic step parent. While Carrie accepted Christ at the age of 4,
her relationship with God was tested as she encountered the more devastating side of life. As a teen she moved in with her dad and
began to walk away from God in her heart, while keeping up the pretense of "the good Christian girl." However, when she arrived at college
after a recent loss of her virginity and secret abortion, she was at the feet of Jesus asking for a second chance.
Carrie Guy has spent over 10 years in youth ministry. Starting out volunteering and speaking to teens during college. She then worked as
an assistant youth worker before spending an intense year at a residential care facility for troubled teens following her graduation
from TCU. In 2003 Carrie moved to California, where she became the Youth Pastor at First Christian Church in Visalia. Since 2005, Carrie not
only got married, but also co-founded and directed The IRMA Network, an outreach to those who have experienced the pain of abortion. While
working with The IRMA Network, Carrie became a co-host on Life Report, a youth-oriented pro-life podcast. Since 2005, Carrie faced the
challenges of being a stepmother, potential infertility and miscarriage before having her son in 2011. Carrie is an writer, speaker and an ecstatic lover of people.
Carrie has a passion for purity and to see people live the life God intended, free from the bondage we so often live under. She challenges her listeners to be real and open; ridding themselves of the masks they may be hiding behind. Carrie Guy offers presentations specifically dealing with abstinence, purity, and abortion; but also speaks more generally to issues of our spiritual state and relationship with God.
In a world broken and ready for healing, Carrie offers hope and direction in her messages shared with online, on-air, and live
audiences. She has spoken at a variety of events and functions around the world. Carrie is currently working on two writing projects that
she hopes to have published over the next few years.
Carrie and her husband live in Visalia, CA with her 2 stepdaughters and their toddler son.
